I just used a line-level converter from Wal-Mart($10) and tapped it into the rear speaker wires. i just had to drop the amps down off the speaker to get to the wires. Also, I used a test light to find the wire that turns the Bose amp on/off with the radio and I tapped my remote wire into it. Then I just had to ground it and run the power wire to the battery. Easy install. That wa in my 98 w/ Bose. If you have non-bose, you should be able to do the same thing but may need to run remote wire up to the HU. any other questions, feel free to PM me. Good luck.

Some amps have line level inputs as well as rca. If your amp has them, use them. There are also speaker level input detectors that will give you remote turn on if you don't want to take the radio out, and don't have Bose.
