i have a kicker 12" comp so mine is not bad but his 2 12" alumipro are in a pretty crappy box while my one 12 is in a very well made box that is actually "hanging" in my trunk. I wanted somethins original so i have the back of it resting while the front of the box hangs about 2 inches off the bottom of the floor. I just want mine to be better sound quality wise. but what ever

Im sorry, I misunderstood and thought you had the type Rs. I didnt mean any insults by it, just trying to state the answer to your original question. Although in the right enclosure most speakers can be made to sound good. A great speaker in a bad/unproper enclosure = bad sound.

yeah his subs sound to boomy if that makes any sense at all. you dont really hear that good deep bass sound. its is more like an ear hurting thumping that is not crisp. he just likes to be ghetto but whatever..i will all be superior because i rock and he sucks...j/k. i think i will be nice and build him a box for christmas
