Here are two documents that I uploaded to my site that are straight from Directed Electronics, who makes all Viper, Clifford, and Avital security systems and remote starters. It gives all wire colors for a security or remote start install. This info is from their directechs.com web site which provides info for installers. Both files below are similar, however there are a few differences. The great thing about the info is it shows both colors of a wire, because sometimes the color of a wire will change at a plug and can be confusing. It also gives locations of all wires. Enjoy.
