yes this is a good system, DA and precision power makes very good stuff and the hexes are top of the line. How much did you pay for em?

I'd look for speakers that can go above 2 khz without breaking up. And there is no reason to buy high end speakers for the rear. One set of speakers is all you need if you set them up correctly.

Subs are only as good as the enclosure. But the JL's have good potential.

I would use a two channel amp for the front speakers and a mono amp for the subs. Look at JBL's new Crown sub amps to match up with the JL's.

Oops, sorry. I read that as W7 instead. I hate when different companies use similar product names. Disregard what I indicated about them haveing good potential. Except for SPL. They have lot's of potential for causing deafness early in life.

i have some of the old ADS Company speakers, which are awsome, should i put those in the back/front?...what should i use for the back?....does anyone know about the amps....these amps are very old but are the best from ppi becuase now ppi i think kinda suck because they got bought out from a french company and they started to use cheap parts.....should i use my pionner eq as welll?...i have it layin around and am not using it...its the Pioneer DEQ-9200 Equalizer Digital, but i am also goin to put the alpine IVA-D900...but i like the Pioneer DEQ-9200 Equalizer Digital because of the light show....what do u guys think? should i put the Pioneer DEQ-9200 Equalizer Digital with the system?

I wouldn't call DEI a cheap or low quality company.

If you want pretty lights to attract the theives then put the pretty EQ in the car. But the lights won't make the stereo sound any better. Also remember that anything you add to the signal path can and will add noise. The only exceptions would be a noise gate or a well designed line driver. EQ's in the hands of inexperienced users cause more harm than good.
