LEDs to come on with switches

i have a steel toggle switch to turn on my amp, and i was wondering if there was a way to connect an led to the switch so that it comes on when the switch is on? i dont want to go out and buy a switch with an led light already on it, and figured it would be useful so that i wont leave the amp on, thanks

buy an led with correct resistors, wire negative to ground and positive to the switch.

BTW why do you have the amp on a toggle switch anyways??

sometimes the bass gets to be too much and just wants to turn it off. I have had my amp hooked up to a rocker switch for over about 2 years and haven't had any problems.

connect the correct resistor (about 470 ohms) to the positive connection on the LED...then connect that to the part of the switch which is controlled by the switch (no pwer when switch is off, power when switch is on) and then ground the negative part of the LED

hook the led to the ACC. that way when your amp gets power so will the LED.
