Installing head unit with stock speakers

I just wanted to know my car speakers are those crappy panasonic speakers, and I have a pioneer head unit with the available harnesses, etc. Why doesnt it work with these normal speakers, or does the same thing apply to the panasonics as to the Bose System?? (where I have to rewire all my****?>? I tried installing it, it worked, but no sound came out. So WTF?

i'm not sure, but i think it should work with the factory speakers since i dont't think they're externally amplified like the bose are. i'm not the person to ask though, i have never heard or done anything to a 95 max. check your wiring and see if it's correct.
