3rd gens should be about the same. The hard part is moving the radio.

I Simply Cut The Wires To The Back But There Are Inline Taps The You put Over The Wire You Want To Tap, And Insert The Other Wire And You Squeeze It Together. Not Cutting And Splicing Needed. And To Run Your PS2 You Will Need An Inverter And The Wire Size To That Doesnt Need To Be Bigger Than 8 or 10 Gauge If That is All You Are Running. If You Want To Run More Things Off The Inverter Such As Laptop Or What Ever, I WOuld Suggest Going With 8 Gauge.

It has to be a single DIN unit. That's the only one that'll fit.

I know it has to be a single DIN. What I'm actually wondering is if any single DIN that fits in the upper slot will also fit below without any modifications.

Most Radios Should. Simply Slide Off The Sleeve That Comes On The New HU, And Line Up The Holes On The Bracket With The Holes In The Radio. Be Sure You Have The Right Screw. No Longer Than 6MM!!!! If Its Longer i Could Mess Up The Inside Of The Raido. I Had This Problem Recently. Luckily I Didnt Have To Pay For The Other Two Radios That Were Damaged In The Process.

if you just leave the orange wire disconnected, you can use the remote to turn it on/off. Otherwise, put the orange wire on a toggle switch so you can turn it on/off. The red and white A/V outputs of the DVD player will need to be hooked up to an auxiliary input on your radio. If your radio does not have one, you will need a FM modulator.

nope...the orange will just allow it to be turned on remotely by another source, like your headunit or a switch. with it disconnected, you can still use the remote that came with it to turn it on.

When you remove the headrest shroud doesn't that leave the back open? Wouldn't that be bad? Also what do I hook the black wire up to?

Oh look a 5 year old thread.

You would need a navi system that has no screen. I've only ever come across 1 product like this...about 5 years ago.
