Does anyone know if profile amps are any good?? Saw some in crutchfield, the claim to be quality equipment, and price is not bad at all.

Profile is one of the cheapest companies out there, but i have a off-brand sub/amp package and it sounds alot better than alot of name brand stuff i've heard. Give it a try, if it sucks ship it back.

I think he has DUAL(right?) the reason it doesnt sound bad is because it is in a bandpass box which makes it a lot louder, but reduces the sq dramatically. that's not necessarily a bad thing, since you're getting some good bang for your buck, but you would have to let your ears decide. personally, i wouldn't get a profile amp. i would bet it just barely puts out what it says. if you want a good amp for a good price get an MTX. or you could go a step up and get a soundstream or a crossfire, but I personally like the MTX amps.

right now you can get a soundstream for as cheap as a profile www.millionbuy.com dont waste time on something lesser for the same price. i do however think that the profile amps are not bad at all. they dont have as many features as most, but the product isn't that terribly bad.
