I have a punch 200xi and I was wondering what they are stable down to? It is one of the older punch's. I want to present it with a 1.5 ohm load. I wonder if it could handle it. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It is rated to be stable to 2 ohms, and it will run really hot if you run it below 2 ohms/channel. It depends on how hard you push it, though. If you don't have the bass up loud much, then it might not work the amp too hard. If you do draw a lot of current from it regularly, then it will burn out eventually. Are you trying to push a W3 with it?

I have 2 15w6s. I don't want to buy a new amp. This one is fine, I juss need more for some reason. I'm amazed at how much sound actually stays inside of the maxima.
