WTF? Everything is wired... but

I'm getting no power to my amps (and thus my subs/speakers).

I've just finished installing RaamMat and sound deadening my trunk, then put everything back together (properly I might add - I tagged my wires so I knew what went where, just in case).

The ONLY thing that's different is my grounding point.

I used to have it attached to the metal part that stick out around the jack location - there was a nice bolt there. Now it's attached to a bolt just below the tail light (not the tail light assembly bolt).

Now, it may have gotten some dynamat on it, but I tried cleaning it off with Goo Gone, and that didn't work.

I've checked all my fuses (my radio still works so it's not the car one). My distro block fuses are okay, as is my fuse by the battery. It's not those - they're all intact.

Everything is wired properly... but yet I still get no power. My RCAs are fine, and I've pulled my dash to check, so I know that's cool.

Oh, and I'm posting this in OT as well, since I know most of the guys in there will be okay with it - feel free to move it mods (not immediately would be nice).

What the hell could the problem be?

Thanks
Mike

I would first try to ground it at another location to see if that works.

Done and it POUNDS!!

2 JL 12W3v2s.. finally being used for what they were intended.

And the Diamond Audio M661s sound sweet as well

Thanks dude. It was the grounding point. I had to do some contorting to get a new ground, but it works now.
