No Power to Amp?

When I turn my car on, the amp's red power light comes on for maybe a second, goes off, a low thump goes through the sub and then nothing else happens. No power to the amp.

I checked all the wires: power is fine, fuse under hood and on amp are good, good ground, amp turn on wire has a good connection, all wires are in good condition.
I am baffeled. It is a new Kenwood HU. For the record the HU,amp, subs were all playing fine but now there is no power to the amp. Anyone know whats up?

That may be it. But it worked for like a week then stopped. I will triple check the ground though. Is there any chance that it could be the HU. I don't think so ,but does anyone know?
