repair subwoofer

my friend has a JL w3...theres a cap/cone thats glued to the middle of it. it seems to have popped off. the subwoofer still works perfectly and sounds fine..but with the cap/cone not there, the innards of the sub are shown through the middle. i want to glue the cap back on to protect it, how it should be. what should i use? any special techniques? thanks

I'm sure there's a ton of different glues you could use, but I've had very good luck with epoxy. The kind with the two tubes you mix together. I just mixed some up on a paper plate and used toothpicks to apply it.
