New Amp Wont Power Up

I have 2 amps in my car 1 soundstream refrence 300 that runs 2 - 6.5" alpines
then i smoked the soundstream refrence 500 that powered my 12" solo barick, so to get a cheap sub amp i just purchased an alpine mono channel amp 200 rms supposofly 700 peak, i installed the alpine today and when i turn on the tuner, the sub amp powerd up and kicked the sub nice but the 2 alpine 6.5`s had no sound, i looked at the amp and the red power light was on dim, i swapped fuses in the distribution block for the amps and the 6.51s kicked on but the sub didn`t power, the fuse is not blown, the one that works on boths amps is a 50 the one that didn`t work was a 25 do you think i need 2 50`s any help would be cool

it sounds like a blown fuse. some times a fuse can be blown and it is really hard to tell. not likely, but it is a possibility. have you tried replacing the bad 25a fuse with a new 25a fuse? if that doesn't work try switching it out for a 50a. these fuses are in the distro block right? not the amps? those should never be changed for different amperage fuses.

you may need a relay on the remote lead from the radio.
