Alpine or Kenwood

I have been offered 2 different head units for the same prive
one is the Alpine 9811 and the other is the Kenwood 9023r

I think they are very similar but the Kenwood has a few more options and 5v.
Both are mp3 and cd drives and both have motorized front panel.
Ayone have the kenwood who would like to comment on it?
thanks

You will not notice any difference with the 5v. Get the Alpine, IMO.

go with the alpine, much cleaner power and it will sound alot better. kenwood decks suck, i've had a few and they don't even compare to alpine. on top of this kenwood says there preamps are 5V but they really are much less. stick with alpine or pioneer and you'll be set!!

I would go with the Alpine deck. I have owned a couple of Kenwood headunits, and was more impressed with the Alpine decks.

I have a 10 year old Alpine 3527S Amplifier.

It's in its 4th car..

30x4 W amp...

Runs great, has never died...

it's my only experience with Alpine, and I like it.

I like the look of the newer Kenwood HU's better than I like the look of the newer Alipine HU's, but I can't tell you about sound quality...
