stop playing your music. or just take your trunk off. there is no way ive seen yet to stop every rattle when my system is up, let alone anyone with a decent system.

im not sure how you would do this but if you tightened up the spoiler or insulated it that might help, ive noticed that this is where the majority of all my rattles come from, good luck

On top of all the deadening, finding a way to close your trunk lid TIGHT can reduce rattles.

Shame...on some cars the latch that holds the trunk down can be loosened and moved 1-2 cm up or down, allowing you to adjust for a very tight close. On top of all the deadening, this really helped stop the lid from rattling when the bass hit. Unfortunately, the latch on the Max doesn't have "extended grooves" to move it up or down.

If you wanted to get serious, you could take the piece off, extend the holes, and try to put it back. You could try to find a replacement latch (just the bottom metal piece that holds the trunk closed) that allows you to adjust for a tight fit, or maybe you could put something on top of the area the trunk closes onto to make it tight.

i used dynamat and i ahve a eclipse 15 aluminum sub and it slamms....Still rattles but a lot better than before. Which way your sup fires matters also. I put dynamat behind the maxima letters around the spoiler bolts and it does pretty well. If u can't hear it on the inside who cares.

i have my subs now facing the inside of my car, no longer the outside, but it still seems like it rattles the same, just a tad lower, i tried dynomat all inside behind the maxima letters n around the spoiler n it still rattles crzy, im just waiting for the day all my maxima letters fly off
