What do you guys suggest?

I have a pioneer aftermarket stereo & i'm running it with BOSE speakers... I want to upgrade my speakers...

What do you suggest?

I don't want to go crazy on the prices...
I'm not trying to build a $1000 system...Just something that will sound better than my BOSE speakers...

If you really want it to sound better it's more the speaker location than the brand that matters. A decent coaxial with proper aiming will sound better than anything in the stock location.

i wouldn't bother upgrading unless you are planning to get an external amp for the speakers. You won't really be happy without one

not necessarily. hook up some cdts or any other speaker that has a high sensitivity to a decent h/u and you will be impressed coming from bose. but dont expect much in terms of bass unless you have an external amp.

What I meant was that some cheap Radio Shack speakers with a tiny bit of aiming will sound significantly better than stock. If you want a specific brand recommendation get off the internet and use your ears.
