Sound deadening

Sound deadening

Wanna do this to the max, but i know its gonna add weight, Which is not a good thing. But i want to reduce road noise for the system. Whats the ballpark range in wieght that i am gonna add to the max if I do just the front two doors and trunk?

Im not sure but dynamat is heavy stuff. heres what i found on there website. Try researching alitte man..

See, it will all add some weight.

I use Raam Matt, It is ticker, more flexible, and stickier then Dynamat and 5 times less expensive.

In doors use also metal brackets (corners) from one side of the door to the other (inside the door) so the metal doesn't vibrate.

I would install midbasses in floors. my next project

Where a good place to get some Raam Matt? I did a google search on it and got some results.

Check ebay. Ive always gone with Dynamat, Ive never settled for a different brand.. that's just me.

Dynamat Extreme works great, it is lighter than the original and is suppoed to work 4x's better. I did my trunk with the Original and had to use a heat gun. I did my front doors with the Extreme, and the roller was all I needed.

I have Brown Bread and it's pretty good stuff. But I think all of them addd wieght to your car my trunk has a hard time staying open now.
