What is so good about Eclipse and Component Speakers?

I found a better HU..
Alpine CDA-9807 50Wtsx4 and 3 pre-outs at 4 volts each $222 at Circuit City

Ok now that everyone has chimed in about how great Eclipse speakers are, I checked out the Website, pretty cool stuff. But will I hear a lot more bass at higher volume? I don't know much about audio equipment.
Can someone explain why eclipse audio is SO good?
I have some Sony 6.5 180 watts each, yep they suck b@lls. Will Eclipse totally over shadow them or will I be faced with the problem I have now, Hardly any bass!
Oh yeah I don't know how to find an Eclipse Dealer on their website. I live in SOUTH Texas very south, like the last city before Mexico!
Can anyone help me find out how or where I can find a dealer near by?

I plan to hook up a 4-channel amp to the speakers regardless of which I buy, but if I can get a hold of some new Eclipse speakers I will put them in the car.
I really don't want to get a sub but I want some decent bass, I guess I'd go with JL if I have to. Guys please help me, everyone has been great so far, thanks!

yes, Eclipse has some really good components and good coaxes(which I heard ran off a Eclipse HU internal amp and was very impressed)

I still suggest to looking for speakers in companies that dedicate themselves to speakers if you are looking into best sound/music reproduction
i.e. rainbow, focal, CDT's, Image Dynamics,etc...

Eclipse doesnt have the best bass in component speakers, I used to have their Point Source speakers, but I would try JL, or Focal if you are insistent on NOT getting a sub.

So if I want some good bass out of the 6.5s JL would be the way to go? The XR series? I'd have to run an amp too to get the best sound out of them, oh well why not, looks like I'll be getting a sub, how are those stealth boxes by JL?

Thanks!
