Umm...What do you guys think the longest wire
I can use for my capacitor-amp wire can be?
FYI I have a Strike 1.0F capacitor + a Fosgate 800a4.
The Fosgate has an extra set of 8 gauge inputs
specifically for the cap, so I have to use 8 gauge cable.
Thanks!

I believe the longest recommended length is 18 inches, but the closer the better.

What's the current draw on that amp? (or what is the fuse rated at if the amp's spec sheet doesn't list full power current draw)..
I think that monster amp may be a little strong for only 8 awg wire powering it.. you might consider running 4 awg.

I've had better sound improvements by using larger cable than I've had by adding more caps.
just thought I'd throw that in.
