Problems with Alpine HU...some input needed

Hey guys...I have what I consider (or considered) one of Alpine's Best HUs, the CTA-1505 Commander Unit. Well lately it seems when it rains it pours...random buttons on the face refuse to work anymore...in addition, now when I use my lights...the whole screen goes dark...so now..the delema...should I just get another face for this unit...or should I get another Alpine HU...so I can keep my 12 disc changer (keep in mind the 1505 doesn't have a CD input...its just a controller so to say) or should I selll all the Alpine gear and go with Kenwood/Pioneer?

Thanks
