Attaching an Amp to back seat of 5th gen

Has anyone attached an amp to the back seat of a 5th gen Max? I have a large amp for my sub which I need to attach but since it is so heavy I can't screw it in directly to the seat or it falls off. Anyone have some tips or tricks on how to do this?

when I had my system installed, they built an amp rack for my amps. It looks very nice and blends in to the carpet of the trunk.

Sounds pretty cool, can we see some pics of your set up?

There is sheet metal in there if you search enough. Mine are just screwed into the sheet metal.

I did it with no problems but did it a little different. I removed the cloth seatback cover with a door trim removal tool. I double nutted 10/32" bolts through the cloth cover so that I could secure the amp with wing nuts (makes it easy to take amp out if ever needed). I then put the cloth cover back on the seatback but also secured it with sheet metal screws into the metal frame in the seats. My amp has been like this for over a year with no problems driving through huge potholes in Boston every day.

That sounds like it holds up really well...I'm thinking about putting in a sheet of plywood as a floor and making an amp rack on it and a custom encolsure for my subs. I'm still looking at diff setups but thanks for your input, I may end up trying something like that too.
