5th gen grounding.

I've got a new setup, and I've wired everything except a finalized location on for the gound wire. Anyone have any suggestions on a good location in the trunk? Closer to the rear the better. What I've come up with so far as options were the trunk latch area, or the spare tire area. I'm grounding a 4 gauge wire btw.

I pulled back the carpet/covering behind the rear wheel well. There's good points there, really close so no need to use so much ground wire.

I ended up grounding it to the read trunk release. It works great... no noise. If anyone is interested I can post some pictures of it.

Anywhere on the trunk floor is fine. That is where I ground mine. It's good to sand/file the metal to a fine shine to get better connection and less noise.
