Capacitor Question...Help me please

I just got a brand new 1.5 farad cap. How do I charge it and how much should I charge it. Also how do i hook it up to the amp and battery.

It should have come with a littlw wire touching both ends of the capacitor with a fuse in the middle that will charge it. TO connect it to the battery run a power wire to the cap and get connectors run power to it and then a wire from the negative to a ground spot. Also make sure you take off the little fuse before you get power to it.
Why did you get a 1.5 farad cap?
