So my amp caught on fire...

Ok, I finally got my car back so I got to setting up my system. I hooked everything up and connected the power to the battery, turned the car on and my amp caught on fire =/

What could be the reason for that? Bad ground?

the amp, if most of the damage came from the connections then if was wiring or just the wires touch, if the damage was from the inside then you had a bad amp that you need to sue.
