Good 4 Channel Amp??? HELP please read

I put Infinity door speakers all around in my max, wanted a little more power out of them without replacing the factory head unit cause i would lose my steering wheel controls....any advice on a decent amp to power them?? Is this a good idea? Anyone that knows about amps please let me know. Thanks!

you've got to do some research everyone has their own preferences, and only you can determine what you really need. I would suggest soundstream but that is through personal preference as well as price efficiency. you may want to go for something else. go here and read up a bit http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/S-...mplifiers.html

If your looking for super clean sound look into an a/d/s amp or maybe a focal amp. These amps produce really nice clean power. Or maybe you can locate a old phoenix gold M44 amp.

I'm not BIG on the newer amps. I use Precision Power Art Series amps from "1992".

If you have to go with a new amp then go w/ADS. There not what they were before DEI bought them but still a good product. Since I sell Rockford I have to say them. JL Audio makes some nice amps. Everyone has their own idea of what is good. To this day I've never heard an amp better than the PPI amps of the early 90's.

You might want to consider getting an amp and sub before you amp the inside speakers.

Just use a PAC AOEM-NIS2, I sell them on ebay and here. It will allow you to add an amp and new speakers to your car and still retain the factory deck and steering wheel controls.
