Stereo Upgrades...

having just purchased a 2002 without the bose system, i feel that the stereo is lacking a bit. i want to replace the ehad unit of course with something that matches the interior lights and or style. any suggestions or head units to be wary of?

secondly, i was thinking about subs... i had a huge bandpass box in my last car and id rather not do that this time.... i was thinking of possibly installing a single sub where the bose system would have had the rear subwoofer... good idea? has anyone attempted it? any advice?

Ahem...wrong section bud, we got an audio section. Single sub might be a good idea, but too many options to choose from. Bandpass sucks, dont go that route.

Ehh...the BOSE setup simply sucks. You got your hookup, use it & get yourself a nice set of comps.

1 12 sealed should do the trick. i think an alpine h/u would match nicely with the dash...

Eclipse CD8443/8053/8454 have subtle selectable button illuminations of green an red -the red actually accentuates the red needles and climate control meter well IMO in the 2k2-2k3's
