2002 SE maxima navi

is there anyway to disable the graying out while im driving, its irritating to only be able to enter stuff in when im at a complete stop...what wire to do i need to remove to change or whatever....

I believe it is the vehicle speed sensor wire. However, it will confuse the navigation system because it relies on that wire to know your current speed.

Without the VSS it would cause a delay, but the GPS auto updates itself regardless if the VSS is connected or not.
