First off, yeah I'm new here

just bought my first max (2001 SE)


everything is stock right now but I'm looking into changing that... (but gotta keep an eye on budget as well )

first upgrade I want to do is to the sound system...

Ok, I don't want to replace the Bose head unit

All I really want to do is add a pair of subs and amp in the back


is this a bad idea?

if not, then what are some good combinations of subs/amps to consider (within $600)

I believe you can get a Diamond Audio D3 600.1 and 2 M3 10's/12's in a package price
for well under that budget......
