About Bose...
my max doesn't have any bose unit. I have a question..what's the size of the speakers on my door? are they 6.5"? can I replace them with 6.5" bose speakers? Will that sound better than nonbose stock?...thx..

No, you can't replace your stock non bose speakers with bose ones. The Bose speakers run on a different impedence than almost all other speakers. Plus, it won't sound that good either. Just some nice aftermarket speakers would sounds 10X better.
Alot of people have bad things to saya bout their bose. (including myself)
GO AFTERMARKET!!!

As much as people bash the bose system, it is a good system from factory and compared to other factory cars. It is certainly not the best, but not the worst like many claim. You're best off going aftermarket though...you'll get more for your money.
