Can anyone advise if its possible to add an Amp to drive more powerful speakers on an '02 Max? If so what are the components needed and does anyone have specific instructions?

Thanks,

Bob

For hooking up subs:

Line out converter (taps into your speaker level outputs from the stock HU)
Amplifier
Wiring kit for amp (in-line fuse and cable from battery to amp)
Your enclosure/speakers
Speaker wire from amp to speakers
Wire from line out converter to amp

Anything else you want to add will also work fine (voltmeter, caps, remote controls, etc)

Now if you want to run an amp with the stock door speakers that's a different matter entirely, i'll leave that to someone else's knowledge, or post in the Audio Forum.
