Amp mount behind folding seatbacks?

I'm thinking of mounting my jl 500/1 amp behing the rear seat on the drivers side. Im scared that if i screw it in that sometime later the amp might fall down. Can any one give me tips on where to mount the amp and what to use. I think the amp is about 5 lbs. Any info would help me since this is my first time with all this. Thanks.

I'd say it'll be fine long as you use some coarse thread wood screws, not a problem
i've seen this done many times b4

i put mine right in the trunk on the left side... just screw the amp to a piece of plywood and punch a hole thru the carpet/plastic stuff there, theres a hole in the metal that you can attach the board to with a bolt. i did it with just one bolt, havent had any problems yet and it keeps it out of the way and looks nice.

its fine on the 5th gen, but just be aware that its on a deep incline (almost ~60 degree angle) I had no issues, and had my 4ch that way for months
