You can definately do ALOT better than those choices, but looking at them I would assume you have a low budget set. Give us some numbers $ wise to work with and Im sure we can put something together for you. Being that your also not to far away from me (Edison/Middlesex County). Im sure I can put something together as well.

yup low budget has definitely been restricting my modding lately. i really dont want to spend more than $225 (w/o shipping) on those 3 items. dont wanna mess with an install myself so i need to account for the money to get a shop to do it

check ebay... also think about saving up a bit more money and you'll be happier in the end.. look for the cheaper JL audio's.. (like the W0's) and you'll be all set

if you get that stuff you will end up buying better stuff in a minimum of a year maybe two. I am going through this myself becuase I bought fairly crappy amps (luckily a decent sub Infinity Ref 1200) so I am now spending a lot more than I should have overall to get the sound I want.

Buying a ported box isnt the best idea in my book just becuase if you have someone build one or you build your own to the exact specs of the sub and port it to what you want out of your speaker you will get a lot better sound. I bought a prefabbed sealed box and regret this becuase I could have built one that was a lot better and would have fit in my trunk much snugger.

I really didnt like blaukpunt when I had them in my old max. They are good for cheap speakers but that is about it in my book.
