Amp wiring advice

Hi Guys looking for some wisdom from all you Stereo gurus out there.

I have a 4ch amp already wired in my car with 8 ga. wire and I went ahead and upgraded the amp with this one.

http://www.millionbuy.com/souvga3204.html

Do you think I would get away with using the same wires or should I up grade the power and ground to 4 ga.

Thanks,

Here's what we're looking at: 160Watts RMS @ 4Ohms x4 @ 13.8V (Battery Voltage) = 46.38 Amps of current draw. Not really sure that the 8ga wire will be able to handle that amount of current draw. Keep in mind that 46.38A is going to fluctuate at different frequencies and the load will vary from 4Ohms when playing music. I guess what I'm getting at is go for the 4ga wire. There's a reason they have a 4ga connection on the amplifier.

i would upgrade.. possibly to even bigger than 4 just in case you want to add another amplifier later

edit: I had 4 gauge through my car and now I have to take everything out and run 1/0 gauge.. wouldve been easier to do it from the start
