RCA cables cut, need help

Yesterday while driving to school my sub would stop working on and off. So I pull down my backseat and see that the rca connected that are connected to the amp were cut off. This probly happened from it rubbing on the rear deck. Not worried about that cuase im going to reposition everything anyways. What i need help with is should i just replace the rca's with new ones or should i try and re-connect the existing ones? And where can i also find good rca's for a low price and what do i need to concider when getting rca cables? Thanks

i wouldn't reconnect them, you will lose alot of sound quality. check bestbuy or circuit city for RCAs. Don't get a cheapy pair, a nice set of RF RCAs or Stinger are pretty good.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to go ahead and get new cables. I currently had tsunami rcas and i've found some stingers on ebay for about 20 dollars. Which I'll look into. Thanks for the replies.
