Fuse-blowing dash lights
Fuse-blowing dash lights
My dash lights have recently started to blow the 7.5 minibus fuse that's plugged into the int. illum. slot. I have made no changes to the car, such as new electronics. I replaced the fuse, and everything worked fine for about a day or two. Then I am left in the dark again.
Also, I've noticed that when the dash lights aren't working, the dimmer also does not work. With the fuse in place and working properly, the dimmer works just fine.
I've tried turning on interior lights, my air conditioner, my stereo, cranking the volume (doesn't sound pretty, I have four blown speakers and no cash), rolling the windows up and down, and even blowing the horn. So far, nothing seems to add up.
I'd appreciate any help from someone who has more insight than I, or even better, someone who has experieced the same problem. I'll pay in Kudos.
