Where to install XM antenna

Have any of you put in an XM kit in your max. I have had trouble installing the XM antenna in a discrete location where one can not see the wire trail. I have in the front neat the windshield bottom centre. I looped in the wire to go through the AC vent right next to it and come around to the steering. Its not bad, but still crappy.

I saw someone mount it inside their brake lights, and I have no idea how the hell they got it all the way back there.

Any pics if anyone has installed it?

put it on the rear deck (inside of the car). The reception is amazing. The wires can easily go to the trunk or wherever your tuner is located.

Rear deck or trunk lid. Roof mount is good for reception, but depending on the install, if the antenna wire sits in water in the weather stripping, it can corrode that and your antenna will go bad. Not saying it will happen all the time, but I have seen it more than once.
