XM in 5th Gen...

I just picked up a Roady2 yesterday and would like to do a clean install. Anybody out there with any tips or pointers?

Yes, I do have a suggestion (since the other two weren't really suggestions). A company called Arkon makes a flexible arm mount where you can run the wires thru the arm. Do a search for it, and you will find plenty people selling them. Good luck.

stick with XM just find a better mount. You can use the vent clip and buy the remote so you dont need to touch the roady itself.

you going with direct(aux) or wireless fm modulator

The Roady2 actually fits in the ash tray of the car quite well, I am using the FM modulator at this time since I can hear no difference in sound quality between the FM modulator and the tape deck.
