Hooking Up An Amplifier

I am looking to install an amplifier in my car. I do not want to pay to have it installed. The problem that I am having is running the power wire from the engine compartment. I do not want to do any drilling. Can anyone tell me of any access holes to run this wire through. I have a 02 auto.

thanks

yep. Jack up your car, and take off your drivers side wheel. then you will see the black protective fender. (the wheel well) take off the screews, and pull back that black peice. you will see a 2-3inch rubber gromet. it leads into the engine bay, and also leads into the interior. take it from there. thats how i ran mine, and it worked out great.

Thanks. I will give it a try. Was removing the fender covering difficult? Do you recall how many screws were there?

Removing the fender cover is semi difficult being that the material isn't that maliable.

it wasn't that hard. took me about 30min - 1hour to remove it, run the wire, and put it back. there are about 6 screews, but they are not normal screews... you have to pull them out with plyers. also, do not forget the hidden screew under the car where the mud flap is.
