alright hes what i understand

the OEM bose speakers are 2 ohm (very low resistance)
to put an aftermarket HU in most putout power at 4 ohm
if you try running an aftermarket HU iv heard u will blow the HU in a day.

im putting in a clarion HU and new pioneer 4 ohm 6x9"s and just bypassing the amps (leaving them there, just to look pretty....)

this is the way im going, from all the research on the topic that ive done

tell me what your going to do

if your using an aftermaket head unit.....

install your head unit
Run new wires to your 4 speaker locations(not a nessesity but i find it easier when ur getting rid of bose)
Install your speakers

if you want to disable power to the amps then u can either remove them from the case or just unplug them. The rear amps are in that little basket and u have to remove those to put new speakers in. The front are in a pod to the side of the speakers if u remove the 4 screws on the top plate u can gain access to them to either remove or disconnect.

PKaiser - "i want to put my new headunit in and use stock speakers."

get the OEM-2 from ebay (will also need standard non bose nissian wiring harness or you could be ghetto and splice the OEM-2 into factory harness) and keep your bose amp and speakers. --OR-- get the ROEM which is basically the OEM-1 with nissian harness integrated. With both, you need to adjust (or decrease) the 'gain' (not sure if that's the appropriate word).

if you want to use aftermarket HU and speakers, then do what craig10114 said above.

btw, i'm using the ROEM.
