10" subwoofer

i am in the market for a 10" subwoofer and if you guys could suggest some subwoofers and what box to use

Depends on your budget. If money is of no concern, my suggestion would be an Adire Brahma, or a Resonant Engineering XXX. Pretty much the same sub with a different logo on it. If money is of importance, Adire makes a 12" called the Shiva that I have heard good things about. My vote: Brahma or Shiva. A sealed box will do fine, and be the least hassle.

what do you want spl for crazy bass? or sq for clean sound? and whats your budget? what kind of music do you listen too? what kind of amp do you have?

Get a polk momo for sq. I have 2 and they boom like no absolute other, and they are cheap 140$

yea but its so worth it..the bump and sq on this sub are amazing plus its just one sub and i can get a 10' since the specs r the same for both 10' or 12' ..so it takes up not too much space n got more bump then like 3 regular 12' subs..das if u wana b a pimp like me

i like jbl gti series, has really good sound quality and the spl when you turn it up and wire it down to 3ohms. so my vote would goto the jbl. i personally had a jbl gti w12 in my car for a couple weeks and then took it out because i needed my trunk space for my job and school, so i dont think i will be putting it in anytime soon, so if anyone is interested it is for sale, its a really good sub, the tech from jbl is very helpful and it looks really good. email me if anyone is interested.
