I searching for a Navi system for the max. I'm leaning toward an external Navi system and wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions.

 

I'm getting the Pioneer AVIC-N1 installed in little over a week! It is a flip out single din unit that offers more than just navi as it replaces the stock HU. Pioneer owns the right to most aftermarket navi software so they tend to have the most competitive prices. I chose it over the over the dash models because the sound integration and other options; my HU needs a replacement also.

Eclipse AVN or Pioneer AVIC-N1 (They're going to release the N2 soon) are the best options.

 

I am having a pioneer avic n1 installed in 04 max tomorrow (12/27/04), I have done quite a bit of research and I think this is the best unit, a little pricey but I think its worth it. Will update you once the install is complete.
