Noise issue

I'm having a problem with noise coming out of my speakers:

I have a 97 came stock w/ Bose. I added a sub w/ speaker level inputs, and I've installed the auxillary adapter, I forgot who made it but it was about a year ago. The only other mod's I've done have been lighting mods.

My problem is this: when I turn the key from Off to Acc, all 4 speakers make a popping noise. Same thing happens when I turn the key from on to off. This alone bothers me, but there is more. I've noticed that in addition to this, the rear speakers (and possibly the fronts, I couldn't tell for sure) are outputting noise, when the car is OFF!... no key in the ignition, nothing. Its very quiet, and only noticed when I was cleaning the back window, but its definately there. My battery died recently and I had to have it replaced; I think this was the root cause. I cannot, however, for the life of me figure out why it is doing this. I've disconnected the speaker inputs to the sub, disconnected power to the sub, disconnected the aux. input, and every possible combination, and none fixed the problem.

Does anyone have any ideas? I really dont want to go buy a new deck/speakers because the car is getting up there in age, not really interested in throwing too much money into it... its got 170k miles on it; but I also dont want it to keep having these problems.

I'll try opening it up and seeing if there's anything clearly wrong with the HU grounding, but everything else I have disconnected. Other than those two situations, the radio acts just as it should. When the car is on, its fine; there's no strange noises or constant background noise, thats only when the car is off/ right as I turn the key.
