I just installed my Infinty Perfects 6.1s in the front, and one of the tweeters keeps cutting out. It'll be fine one moment, then just cut out the next. All the connections from the tweeter to the crossover are good. Any ideas? Thanks.

 

did you check all the connections on the tweeter itself? you might as well recheck the connections one more time. unless the tweeter is bad itself. or if you really want to make sure the tweeter is ok, try it on the other xover.

 

Yeah, I would swap the tweeters to see if the problem switches sides. If it does, then the problem is with the tweeter. If not, then you have to swap the crossovers and maybe the wires, too. That's the best way to isolate the problem if you can't see a bad connection.
