that and if your car vibrates a lot at startup, you might want to turn sensetive down some, had this problem when i installed mine but fixed it right then and there.

also your putting a remote start on a stick car? thats way to dangerous man, be sure it has a neutral cutoff and i would highly not recommend installing one on a stick car but its all on you.

good luck

install is pretty damn simple to me, i dunno if u wanna deal with it though. took me half hour to do, but a newbie might take up to 4 hours to install (not joking)

also I STRONGLY recommend ordering a new key but have it not cut so that if they do try to steal your car with the key, it wont even work.

You have your remote starter installed incorrectly.

When remote started, your shock sensor should be automatically disabled, and only perform perimeter detection.

Thats how mine is setup.

um what? i still have my alarm armed when i remote start the car and also i dont have compustar i used DEI 561T.

2kvq, yes u can do that also u can bring it to any keymarker if they can program it depending on what they have. (a lot cheaper.)

What i am saying is that if you have a remote starter alarm, once the car is started remotely WHILE ARMED, the shock sensor is disabled to eliminate false alarms as a result of engine vibrations.

In a way, its like once the starter relay is engaged, and the ignition wires are fed 12volts to maintain engine run status, the shock sensor during this period is shunted
