Deck time

Deck time

whats a good deck but low on the wallet impact? im looking at some things mainly because im planning on throwing 2 12" W3's connected to a 1000watt sony explode, and a set of pioneers for fronts and rears connected to an 800watt sony explode...no sure what type of deck to get

the internet is your friend. I'd look for a Pioneer, Clarion, or Alpine. You should be able to find a nice deck with some features for under $200. Try to find something with three RCA outputs.(front, rear, and sub) MP3 ability is a huge plus too.

I would recommend anything by ECLIPSE. They are very plain looking yet HIGHLY functional and easy to use decks that simply blow the competition away.

Look for a JVC Arsenal KD SX9350 Has 3 pre-outs mp3 and it rocks. I only settled for the non mp3 version (my mistake) It should cost like 150

I have an Alpine 9807 and I am very happy with it for the price. I paid around $250 for it almost two years ago. Plays MP3, WMAs, sub pre-out, very functional. I am sure they have a similar model now for a lower price.
