The 5435 now offers 5V/55Ohm preouts,Sirius capabilities,HD Radio ready,etc..Personally I would say wait till he gets them in. I just recieved my stock last week, so it sholuldnt be too long.

Has there been any mention of when the SIRIUS receiver will become available for the HU. Also, is the unit similar to the the previous models as far as User Interface is concerned. I was really impressed with how it layed out compared to the Kenwood Excelon. Any information that you can point me to regarding the unit would be greatly appreciated.

 

Don, what's the price on the AVN5435 and is it 6.5 like the 2454? Or is it 7?

 

lol, i have to admit that is one beautiful piece. My boy just bought an Acura Legend and he heard my alpine system and wants one just like it and for me to install it for him. But im going to experiment and tell him to go buy an all out eclipse system. He never heard of the name before but he said once it sounds as clean as mine and thumps louder hell love it. He went to the audio store around here and told them he doesnt want to pay more than 1200 for everyting. thats including full interior compnents, hu, subs and amp. Eclipse should be cheaper than alpine though right?
