i took a decently quick left turn today and the sounds system just shut off then i took a right turn later today and it just started right back up the headunit was still playing but no music was coming through i have an aftermarket head unit with a Pac Oem to the Bose

 

loose connection? i don't know, that's weird.

 

loose power & ground wire. Take out the hu look around if not drive straight only

dude, i got the same problem. but I have an 02 with bose. I'm thinking connections to the amp(s) are bad especially if the head unit is still getting power. need time to chase down the connections though. If it's all the speakers at the same time, it's probably a main connection somewhere.

Try hooking up a different amp and a separate speaker through the rca connections on your head unit. If they'll play while your Blose speakers are out, at least you know the trouble is between the head unit and speakers. Not the head unit; not the speakers

 

most likely a loose connection(s). my amp was shutting off and turning back on awhile back becuase my ground was loose. secured it back down and no problems since.

 

i think the problem is solved the positive battery terminal was very loose

 

That's crazy that it would get a weak enough connection not to play music, but it would run the rest of the car just fine.

 

if you sliced any wire to hook up to you radio make sure they are tight connections and something around the loose ends it could be speaker wires touching
