Big Three Help

I see the power wire for the alt is the top one that screrws onto the alt. However, the wire doesn't seem to go directly to the battery, rather it goes thru a fuse box and also wraps all around the engine bay.
For anyone that did the big three, is it a direct path from the alt to the battery, or do I need to route the wire thru the fuse box and all that?

I been meaning to do the big three on my car, but from what I been reading you can run it directly to your battery from the Alternator but you have to fuse that wire.

I beleive it going to be a 120 amp fuse, pls correct me if I am wrong.

Here you go, what I mean is putting a fuse on the wire from the Batt to the Alt.
