BOSE HU or other HU?

BOSE HU or other HU?
HEllo,
My BOSE has been acting up on my 95 Nissan Maxima SE with 84,000 miles on it. It skips for no reason and sometimes reads err when chanign tracks (the CDS are not scratched) and occasionallly why trying to skip tracks it takes for ever. -- Anyone else expereince these problems?
-- Are Maxima Dealerships able to fix the BOSE systems are what kind of place would I bring that too... Like Custom Sounds?
Also what do you guys like more... keeping it factory with the Bose or going with a new HU from someplace else...
The only thing is how would it look in my MAXIMA SE since the BOSE HU is rather large and all? Does anyone have any pics of their modifications?

http://www.carstereohelp.com/ is the best site out there. Removal instructions are great. Personally, I LOVE the sound of 96 Bose when it is working right. It also looks cleaner to have OEM installed. IMO
