Stock will suffice...theyre stock in the A pillar in 5th gens, so either location will do.

I put rockford fosgate tweets in my a pillars. They sound awesome, especially compared to the Clarion factory tweets. I can't believe Clarion even put their name on them. I'd be ashamed if I was them. lol

yeah i finally installed the components and rears yesterday, and it great for the price. Plus they are just running off my Alpine 50x4, I'll amp them later on...

About the A-piller the tweeters sound fine to my ears and it look just like stock which is good cause i didnt wanna have to drill any holes...

Rainbow CAL 25 silks would be my choice, but theyll run you about the same amount as a cheap component set.

Audition some and base it on Your ears.

Definitely worth it compared to the old Bose, plus my Bose speakers where like 10 yrs old.. The sound from the cdt's is so much more clean and crisp. Like it snaps hard to explain but the Bose didn't do it.. I'm also glad that I got the titanium tweeters, that is how I would have hoped they sound. The only thing is I can't wait to hear how they sound amped..

100x better is all i can say. i went from non-bose tweets to cdts off a h/u, thought it was great. when i went from the h/u to the amp is was like the same feeling all over again, the mids REALLY come out when amped.
